More good news! A couple of my closest friends in chat will understand this one entirely. Mr & Mrs INeeda got a car! Can you believe that? For those who dont understand, let me back up for ya. A few months back a workmate of my babe's had asked him for a ride to and from work because he'd lost the car due to financial problems. Ok, we've all been there before right? I remember being in the same bind when a car of mine broke down and I had no money to fix it. I remember having to hitch a ride with a pal of mine for a couple months until I had the funds to get another car. My babe, being the sweet darling he is thought nothing of this and was willing to give this guy a ride. Very soon it became not only a ride to and from work (mostly from) but other errands too. OK, I understand the need to put groceries in the house and the fact the wife may have dr appointments BUT the dr appointments are made enough in advance and if you plan properly you can get the store running done on one day right? So if dr appointments are made as you are going out the door from the dr office you should know enough in advance to say so when you leave said office. If you know you have certain errands to run on a weekly basis and you know you're getting a ride from someone else...you ask a few days in advance so they can plan around you right??? Give them a heads up right?? Ask.. ok when is best to run a few errands this week?? And then do them all on the same day! Well this couple just simply couldnt get it through their heads to plan in advance. We'd get a call " can we go today to___?" and then the very next day it would be..."oh by the way we forgot to____.... " UGH! It got to be very very aggravating. Not only would it be runnin errands on the way home from work but it got to be phone calls on our days off together. It got so we couldnt really plan our errands and time off. It got so we dreaded to hear the phone ring and I stopped answering it all together...I'd just hand the phone over and tell my babe..."it's for you and no I aint answering it". I knew if I did, I'd rip the guy's head off. I swear if he didnt work at the same place as my honey, he'd have never kept his job. I sincerely doubt anyone would have tolerated this crap half as long as we did. This situation lasted several months to the point I was about ready to ask if we could claim them as dependants on our taxes....Worst yet was the guy was so dang determined to get an Expedition. He was told repeatedly that he just needed something, anything to go from point A to point B. Nope he wanted an Expedition. On the 10th or 11th this month he asked to go to the carlot on Tuesday to buy a vehicle.....didnt even THINK of it being Valentine's Day and we may have plans. Ok fine....so we make plans around that. We get a call a day later saying maybe we better go on Monday because I bet you two have plans for Tuesday.... GRRRRR!!! So everything I had planned for Monday we couldnt do because of this change. So Monday afternoon I go into chat and decide to stream (radio dj for those who are reading and dont know the term) to keep me occupied. Pretty much everyone on site knew there was a problem because I rarely if ever show up in chat on Sun-Tues because of babe's days off. I finished streaming and turned it over to someone else and as that was going on my babe calls and says they are headed to Taco Bell did I want anything. Hmmmm I thought Mr INeeda was getting a car. Well turns out credit wasnt sufficient for the Expedition (WELL DUH!!! Try for something SMALLER!!!). I very quietly told babe to drop him off and get home and no I wasnt saying anything more on the phone cuz I was gonna lose it. I promptly excused myself from the keyboard for a stiff drink (most of you know I dont usually drink and when I head for it there's a big problem). When I returned to the keyboard I talked to (more like screamed cuz all words were in caps) a friend of mine....needless to say I didnt stay online long. This had me so pissed. Well I guess Mr INeeda took last week off and worked at getting a car and the terms were finalized today. Golly gee wouldnt you know, it wasnt an Expedition either....just something to get from point A to point B..... *shakes head*...wont even go into I told ya so's.
