Ok where was I? Sorry I cut that last one short but my friend from SC called me and then I got distracted with details (wedding...life...pick one...Im sure it'll be the right answer...).
Oh yeah...they're changing my Babe's hours at work. The new hours are pretty damn sucky too (excuse my french there...). They will be Sun-Tues and every other Saturday with a rotation 2 months on night shift (7pm to 7am) and then 1 month on days (7am-7pm) and then back to nights again...*ugh*. Needless to say I am NOT happy about this, but the money pays the bills so I wont squawk too much. With him being on nights there's a slight pay increase too I think. Told him best bet is to take that little extra and sock it away to go towards the wedding or our honeymoon next year (yeah we're gonna wait a bit for our honeymoon...just going to spend a few days in Atlanta on the way home this year). You see, for my honeymoon I want to go to Disney World and stay in the Animal Kingdom Lodge. That's going to be a bit expensive, so we'll wait until the next tax return season.
No news on gramma yet. Im going to call this week because I have a couple questions I need to ask her before I finish my invites up. Im getting them started though. I have about a third addressed and ready to go (short of the licking of the flaps...ewwww *shudders*).
Got the candlesticks done and am starting on the favors. I'm tryin to decide if I want to do the same to them as I did on the candlesticks OR try something else. I tried one idea I had and didnt like them....I may just frost them too to dress them up a bit.
The picture above is the cabin we rented for the wedding. (Link for more pictures of it http://www.sugarmaplecabins.com/cabin.asp?property_id=1079&navmonth=82006&idB... ) . I think it's gonna turn out well. I just need to figure out how to decorate it now. I mean other than just the candles and the musical waterglobe I bought months ago. Im thinking garlands on the window looking outside and a few bells n such. Can someone say shopping trip? ~grinz~ Anyhow....easy decorations and finger foods. The wedding is really informal, nothing fancy.
The entry referenced in the first paragraph Im not bothering to repost. All it had was a picture of the candle holders I'd finished and started to talk about my hubby's new hours. Not gonna bother fixing that link yet...might do it later.
