Well the holidays went well. My fiance bought me a lovely engagement ring for Christmas this year. I am so excited for this next year it isnt even funny. I have a great man and we'll be getting married this coming April. Only four months to get everything squared away...a dress to make...centerpieces and gifty items to make...invites to get out....*sighz*.
I still seem to be coping over this whole chatsite nonsense. I havent seen that person since the other week...Im thinking she's afraid to face what I'd say to her. I really miss streaming alot, but havent found a place I like nearly as well. I had promised myself when I left another site at the beginnin of the year I wasnt going to get involved with another site and I should have stuck by that....so I guess part of the hurt Im feeling now is my own fault for allowing myself to get suckered in. I could always make my way back to the discussion forums...at least there I can detect jerks sooner and avoid them. Im hoping this next year it'll get better as Im looking forward to going back to school...well at home independent studies at least. Now if I could just bring myself to delete all this streaming stuff.....I'm slowly going through the music files and removing what I dont want and burning cds of stuff I really like so I can play it on my stereo in the kitchen. I'll keep a few files so I have tunes on the computer of course....but most of my tunes (a rather substantial number ...my friends will know that) will be gone (except for the mp3 backups of course....I aint THAT stupid). I havent been spending much time in chat lately and I havent seen too many of my friends in the messanger services...I guess we've started heading our own ways. I've been weeding out my banner making supplies while checking the tunes out, as I have no real use for the pictures either. Im only keeping stuff I think I can use to make wallpapers or banners for my fiance's site (he has a scifi fan site). I'll need some of the pictures for when I start the distance learning (Im going to be taking classes for Computer Graphic Arts). May as well get the ole sheep skin and see if I can find a job earnin money at my hobby. The picture with this entry is one of my latest papers. I wanted to see if I could manage to do a good one on a light background. I cant wait to learn how to do them with all the background clutter sometime...those ones are pretty cool. Im thinking of doing a couple more Christina's (see last 2 entries) as I dont think I've exhausted that subject yet. I have some nice black n whites of her....hmmm...
I might still have some of the wallpapers I mention in these entries in my Photobucket account. They'll be some of my first uploads...towards the back pages.
